| Brighton-Le-Sands on historical Botany Bay is one of the younger Sydney suburbs. Its main attraction and the cause for its popularity as a premier residential location is the beach, although not the best one in Sydney due to often polluted waters of the Bay. Numerous take-aways, cafes and restaurants with views on the bay and on planes taking off and landing on runways located right in the bay enliven weekend nights and attract large crowds of locals, largely consisting of Greek or other European origin. |

Hey I already live in Brighton and it is now (2006) one of the most popular spots in Sydney. If you ever visit I reccomend that you go to the resteraunt Gecko for a nice drink or dinner. |

A lovely little town.. I especially enjoyed having lunch and a glass of Lemon Lime & Bitters at "Gecko`s" before hanging loose at the cosy beach (they make the best cesar`s salad I`ve ever eaten)!.. I love the area down there and will definately go again when I`m in Australia next. I`ve been there last in December 2005/January 2006 |

Brighton-Le Sands is a wonderful place to live and visit. The beach is friendly, safe and mellow for families, a relatively uncroweded beach for joggers and a wonderful romantic spot for couples to stroll on the sand as the sun sets. The restaurants and cafes are nice for a coffee and dessert, or perhaps an ice-cream or lunch. Signature cafe is gorgeous during the day or during sunset as it provides a panoramic view of the beautiful beach. However, Brighton can get very crowed at night with young people. Brighton beach is a great place to go to for a swim or a stroll. people in the area are always helpful and friendly and if i can give anyone one piece of advice it will be to go early, with plenty of time for a parking spot as the place is normally jam packed by families. it is a family beach. |
