| Designed in 1898 by George McRae, this massive Romanesque building occupying a whole block between Market and Druitt Streets, withstood proposals of demolition and is considered now one of Sydney’s architectural and commercial landmarks. Its 4 gallery levels offer a spectacular shopping experience with museum features and attractions such as two unique animated hanging clocks, floor mosaic and stained glass windows. |

My sister recommended me to explore QVB, I love to sightseeing in a huge city but not expect to see everything on time. But when entered in QVB, I was amazed at one of world class, victoria-style architecture shopping mall and was..... gasp.... awesome. This cause me to take more time to feel that place and was impressive of the famous Great Australian Clock. |

It was a wonderful experience visiting QVB. The mosaic flooring, stained glass, hanging clocks and the old photographs were excellent. Worth visiting. |

When my husband and I visited Sydney July 2004, we paid several visits to the QVB, and were completely overawed. It is so beautiful. The shops and restaurants are first class. There can`t be anything like it anywhere. We bought a comprehensive book on the QVB, which we shall treasure as it contains a full history of the building. Many, many congratulations to the renovators Ipoh Garden Berhad. They have created a beautiful legacy. |

It was a awesome site, with some marvellous architecture, especially in the inside. The tiles and mosaics were lovely. I enjoyed my time!!!!!!!! |

I had to go to the QVB for a school project. I thought that it would be some boring old place......, but when I stepped in side I was totally amazed. It made me feel like I was in some royal palace or something. The QVB is a wonderful place and I stongly recommend everyone to go there. |
