| With the National Maritime Museum, Harbourside Shopping Centre, Sydney Aquarium, the Chinese Gardens, Panasonic IMAX Theatre, top restaurants and many cheaper food outlets, it is hard to overestimate Darling Harbor’s importance as a major recreational and entertainment spot for both Sydneysiders and tourists. Plan to spend at least a day to see and visit what it offers. |

One of my favorite places in Sydney. It`s all so clean and new. Great restaurants and many interesting attractions including the Maritime Museum, Aquarium and the new Wildlife World. Come at night and see it all lit up. It`s magical.

Lived in Darling Harbour Nov 00 - Feb 01 and I have to say it was the most amazing places I`ve ever had the fortune to call home. Great people, great food, great sights...all in all great life. These pages bring it all back. Keep up the good work! Check out nearby Star City all you can eat buffet - it`s never-ending!

Went to Darling Harbour twice during last 4 days. Fantastic coffee/food bars all around. Went on the Big Tour of Navy Ship, Submarine and Replica of Endeavour. This was good because we got to go inside the vessels and have a really good look. Definitely recommended and take flat walking shoes.

Darling Harbour and Cockle Bay are one of the perfect places to visit in Sydney as they cater for a wide variety of ages and tastes. Just minutes from the city, wheather it`s spending time with your family or dining out at night it provides a variety of fun and intersting things to do. From watching a movie at the Imax theater, to having dinner at one of the fine restaurants, or taking a cruise across the harbour, walking through the mall, taking the Monorail, visiting the Maritime Museum or just going for a stroll over the bridge are just to name a few things you can do. Darling Harbour is the place to vist. It is the perfect place for tourists and locals to visit. I moved overseas 2 years ago and miss it heaps. Must say, the pictures that have been provided are not the best. It is much better in real life.

I just returned from Australia 6/20/03 and I love all the links on this site, they have brought back so many great memories. I wish I had seen this site though before I arrived, it would have helped me decide which locations to visit. as it is, I managed to visit many of your highlights.
