| Ferry and rail terminal at the head of the Cove since the early days, it now also is an exclusive entertainment and scenic district, populated by both tourists and the local crowd (at night) from the nearby offices. The sights are endless and include both the city’s dominant symbols such as the Sydney Harbour Bridge and the Sydney Opera House, and lesser known Customs House with its excellent free art galleries, Cadman’s Cottage, Museum of Contemporary Arts, endless waterfront cafes, street entertainers and aboriginal performers. |

Fabulous place! Absolutely loved it. The Opera House is quite an unusual looking building, but has quite a charm of its own.
Sydney Harbour Bridge is just awesome. Must have taken them a long time to build it. Makes the harbour stand out brilliantly.
There are always buskers and entertainers on Circular Quay, and it has a great atmosphere. I recommend that you go there as part of your next trip to Sydney!

I was lucky enough to live in Sydney for 18months and I can`t wait to move back - Circular Quay is a fabulous place to chill out and see the sights - I recommend the Oyster bar to everyone. One of my favorite places to eat was at City Extra.

I visited Sydney earlier this year and just fell in love with it, what a beautiful place, circular quay was just glorious we spent an afternoon there after arriving by fery from manly, then we spent a wonderful evening just walking around, I can honestly say it was one of the best days of my life, I can`t wait to return. I would recommend this beautiful country to anyone
