| Macquarie Ice Rink is located in the vast expanse of Macquarie Shopping Centre.
Activities include training sessions, birthday parties and casual visits. Skates are available for hire (usually a bit worn and not necessarily sharp), or bring your own. Phone to enquire about public session times as the ice is shared between many other users (like hockey teams) and may not be available for the whole day. Be aware that if you have not tried it before, chances are that you will feel very unstable on ice. Put it simply, you’ll fall down more than once. No worries, there will be many others just like you there. |

Hey, I`m a Canadian exchange student spending a year in Sydney and going to high school. I was in Macquarie Shopping Center today, and seeing the skating rink really reminded me of winters back home in Canada. It was really great to see the ice, and I can`t wait until I get the time to go for a skate!!

ive ice skating sice i was little & it`s always been at macquarie. i have a fantastic time each time im there & my frends luv it to. it`s the best place to hang on a hot day & the place will neva let u down. thanx Macquarie ice rink (u hold so many memories)

I skate tones... but then again i have to. LOL. If its your first time skatin Maq Ice Rink is GR8. But be aware that you dont get on the ice with shoes on. SOO many parents do that to help out little kids. All it does it make the whole thing worse. SERIOUSLY.
Maq Ice Rink ROX!!! Make sure you follow all the regulations for skating though.. it helps everyone on the ice!
