The idea behind Sculpture By The Sea is both simple and beautiful: enjoy modern art on the stunning background of Sydney’s Eastern coast. This is an annual event held on the coastline between Tamarama Beach and Bondi Beach. Essentially it is an open-air exhibition of modern sculpture by Australian and international artists. The exhibition is open for 2 weeks, 24 hours a day, and is free. The sculptures are set among the rocks and (some) in the water along the coastal walk footpath. It attracts good crowd, but the best part is – there is no limit on number of people to visit, neither on number of visits!
