One of the great experiences we`ve enjoyed when we moved to NSW for a year (2006-2007). Thank you! Just found out that Waratah is the name of a plant that is the emblem of NSW. Wish we were told in advance that the night visits are even more fascinating. Didn`t know at first and had difficulty to reserve by phone as we wanted to visit again but didn`t know that the parc had been closed temporarily. Horse back riding not to far away, expensive though compared to the parcs very reasonable entrance fee.

We had a very informative and informal leisurely stroll through Waratah. Our guide Helen was wonderful and as childhood fans of the TV programme Skippy we were pleasantly surprised to learn that we were actually on the original set. The parks residents were in abundance and very friendly. This place is well worth a visit. |

The place where our dreams of the good old relaxed days came true. Where else can you see Bettongs and Potoroos running free? These are really cute wee animals, more appealing than the kangaroos and wallabies. Go there as the sun sets for a spectacular experience. |

What a wonderful way to see Australia`s amazing and unique wildlife. We really enjoyed wandering around the beautiful grounds as the sun went down, and then watching all the beautiful animals come out to play. There were so many of them - some I had never heard of. Really informative guided tour capped off a great evening. |
