Come here by 5:30am – and witness the action when about 65 tonnes of seafood are auctioned. Come by late morning or in the afternoon and enjoy freshly cooked seafood in many incarnations ranging from shellfish to tuna. Later in the day take a lesson in seafood cooking (call to book in advance) or buy some seafood to treat your family.

My family and i visited the fish market @ least 10 times whilst on holiday in sydney in 2005.
The distinct smell of fresh fish hit you as soon as the car doors opened, oooohhhhh heaven. But we had the best bbq`s ever with the best ever tasting and largest variety of seafood. We miss sydney fish market sooooooooo much and cant wait to return it the not to distant future!
