| Wentworth Falls is one of the most beautiful destinations in the upper Blue Mountains featuring spectacular lookouts that can be easily reached by walking a short distance from the car park. For more experienced and keen bushwalkers medium grade walks are also available. Not as commercialized as Katoomba, Wentworth Falls feature one large and series of smaller waterfalls, a lake, and spectacular change of flora as you walk down the hill (if you do). It is extensively marked with direction poles and most of the paths are fitted with steps, some with handrails. |

Many visitors go straight to Katoomba and miss this beautifull area, outstanding views from the car park (a short walk from the rail station) make sure you take the stepping stone walk accross the falls and down the cliffs the other side (for non vertigo sufferers only) to the valley bottom, just follow the `nature trail` along the valley floor and back up the other side to the visitors centre, unmissable.
