| Cronulla peninsula is one of the younger Sydney suburbs featuring several excellent beaches and rock pools suitable for varied tastes. There are a large proportion of young people in the population. Surf beaches are at the northern part of the peninsula (North Cronulla, Elouera, Wanda beaches). There are also several rock pools and shallow water basins that join parks on the shore, at the southern part. Those are ideal for doing laps or for entertaining the whole family. Relatively easy parking and proximity to the train make Cronulla one of the favourite summer destinations in Sydney. |

cronulla is a place of serenic beauty. white sand, rolling surf, surrounded by cafes and friendly people. don`t let the riots distort your perception of cronulla as it is truely picturesque. |

I moved to Cronulla from Maroubra just before the `riot`. News propaganda that has sullied a place of breath taking beauty. I`m glad that the sensational cafes and restaurants are picking up business again. Love the place from the busy beaches to the solitude of the many quiet secluded spots. Take the time to visit. It is ten times better than Maroubra which is now run down and depressing to visit. |
